Assessing for Physical Access and Safety
Your organizations are comprised of physical, communication, policy and attitudinal environments, all of which provide opportunities to assess for access and safety. Doing so allows you to generate creative solutions to remove barriers, and enhance your organization’s access and wellbeing for those you serve. This course addresses the basics of safety and access reviews, provides steps to help you prepare for those reviews, and strategies to plan for change and build capacity within your organization to best meet the needs of survivors with disabilities and Deaf survivors.
