Budgeting for Accessibility
When planning events, there are accommodations necessary to ensure that attendees with disabilities and Deaf attendees can fully access and engage with the training and technical assistance. Although many modifications and accommodations have little-to-no cost, some accommodations do have costs associated with them and it is essential that you includes these expenses in your budget from the start. This course will provide you with information on average costs for common access features and accommodations; help you estimate access costs for your project; and provide guidance on how to include and justify these costs in grant applications.
